At this stud opened to the public, you can take lots of photos and run through the canola fields. Peteet Park is a really unique farm that specialises in breeding miniature rare and exotic animals. Currently on farm are stud Babydoll Southdown Sheep, Australian Miniature Goats, Australian Miniature Hereford Cattle, Australian Miniature Belted Galloway Cattle, Australian Miniature Pigs and Pet Pigs and Maremma Livestock Guardian Dogs. Also horses, Merino sheep, and alpacas. So you really are in for a special day!

Feeling extra adventurous? Mt Brown is just 5 minutes from the centre of York and is a great hike. Standing at 342m above sea level, the lookout from the top of Mt Brown provides a 360 panoramic view of the York township.
There are gas BBQs, toilets and picnic tables at the lookout, making it the perfect place to have lunch or watch the sun set.
